This photoshoot of model Rachael has been taken 1 year ago. I have been keeping these pictures for a very long time because I didn’t want just to post them on Instagram or Facebook. I prefer to wait till I have my own website and blog where I could write the experience while taking these shots.

It was a very cold weather. We couldn’t expect anything else during winter in Ukraine of course. I had this idea to snap somebody on the ice of a frozen river. Even though it was not my first time of doing that but for my model it was something new and unexpected. The conditions for the photoshoot were not comfortable and easy as well. But the idea was worth it. After some cracking of snow, entering our legs in the cold under ice water, getting cold and tired I can say we got what we wanted and we’re satisfied with the result. I like these photos of beautiful Rachael who looked like an ice water nymph with melanin. So unusual and organic in the same time.
